The MX-Tech valve design optimizes the relationship between shimstack & valving; The critical design aspect coming from their "variable orifice" character.

With the MX-TECH high seat pressure design used in MX-TECH valving, external adjusters become more effective (which is the opposite of the result found often with most general suspension revalves) while allowing you to get maximum control from your suspension.

In Australia, ProMechA's test rider on KTM450 EXC 2006 with MX-Tech suspension front and rear installed by ProMechA, reports a bike which now "turns like a go-cart" in corners.

PMA Cartridge Fork Valves VP3/4

ProMechA are pleased to announce the release of a new series of valves for both fork and shock. Designed in-house, our new system offers the greatest scope for tuning ever.

Pictured are our 20mm kits - unique, due to the ability to modify port dimensions to suit the application; allowing a broad range of motorcycle types and riding styles to be accommodated and giving far greater scope for tuning.

Provalve Damping Control Kit

Conventional damping systems (damper tube) have many shortcomings; excessive dive, harshness, very poor traction feel. All of these problems can be corrected with the exclusive shimstack driven PROVALVE high performance damping kit.

ProMechA have developed the Provalve for conventional forks which offers a full 3 way lo/mid and high speed compression damping with an in-built hydraulic anti-dive circuit. With its integral dive control unit and shimstack adjustable damping control, the Provalve will give your conventional fork set the performance of a cartridge unit.

		The Provalve Kit is designed to optimise damping control resulting in improved dive control, traction, feel and fork action performance.
		The ability to fine-tune suspension is increased enormously allowing for a rider-specific set-up based on weight, riding style and application over and above any standard suspension.
		Because of the multi-stage shimstack configuration, we can separately control dive rate, lo/mid and hi-speed compression damping. Removing the fork cap and spring allows removal of the Provalve which then can easily be adjusted.
		When fitted with the correct spring and rebound modifications, your conventional fork set will be more than a challenge for the very best production motorcycle.

Promecha Provalves are an Aussie product. The kit comes with an assortment of different size shims and instructions. Easy to deal with, made from billet aluminium and makes a huge difference in handling.

K-Tech Motocross 85ck Fork Internals

The K-Tech 85CK Kit is a fork internal system designed and manufactured specifically for the 85cc Motocross class consisting of new compression and rebound piston assemblies, new piston holders and flow control needles which enable a much finer range of adjustment.

Complementing these parts is a new hydraulic anti bottoming assembly for improved bottoming control.

MX-TECH take a holistic engineering approach to suspension units and motorcycle - balancing spring rate, piston design and valve settings - building suspension with all aspects and components addressed to give a controlled, plush and stable feel.

MXA Rating

The Stock WP design uses a very stiff valving initially to control swingarm movement and reduce the KTM hinge feeling; but the rider will feel the softer part of the shock stroke as if slamming into a harsh wall of damping.

The MX-TECH valving uses progression like a linkage, making the shock more predictable, plush, and yet controlled. With the MX-TECH needle system the shock is much softer at any given point and with each increment of travel produces a measured increase in damping force.
