"I think I would maybe first look at getting the fork/shock serviced and then get it adjusted for my weight....can you suggest anything else?"

The Suzuki front end has a number of areas that are very much a compromise, these include braking and dive control, lo-speed compression feel and fade. If you are to use the bike purely for sports riding, perhaps the occasional track day, then we would definitely recommend our 20SSK fork kit with a new spring. This will eliminate the fade from the rebound valve, vastly improve dive control and give excellent traction feel without harshness.

For the rear we would recommend our Suzuki Shock Kit which includes new piston, modified compression adjuster, new spring and valved to suit your conditions. This will solve all the squat problems and lack of positive traction feel when accelerating out of corners.

Front:

  • K-Tech Road Sports Conversion
20SSK Compression valve and standard rebound mod incl dive control & spring. You get all the benefits of the much better compression valve and we modify and revalve your rebound to suit the spring. More suited to the road but still gives you good feel on the race track.
  • K-Tech Sports/Ride day Performance Conversion
20SSK Compression and rebound valves, service and set-up and spring. This will give you the best range for road & track use. So if you use the bike mostly on the road and do several ride days per year you can use your adjusters to firm it up for excellent Race Track performance
  • K-Tech Race Bike Conversion
20SSRK Racebike service, set-up and spring
To take advantage of modern compounded sports tyres or slicks, this kit has the latest technology in valve design and shimstack configuration to give outstanding brake and turn-in control without harshness and provides excellent adjustability for any track/weather situation.
    Can be modified for Roadwork.
