"I think I would maybe first look at getting the fork/shock serviced and then get it adjusted for my weight....can you suggest anything else?"

| The Suzuki front end has a number of areas that are very much a compromise,
these include braking and dive control, lo-speed compression feel and fade.
If you are to use the bike purely for sports riding, perhaps the occasional
track day, then we would definitely recommend our 20SSK fork kit with
a new spring. This will eliminate the fade from the rebound valve, vastly improve dive
control and give excellent traction feel without harshness. For the rear we would recommend our Suzuki Shock Kit which includes new piston, modified compression adjuster, new spring and valved to suit your conditions. This will solve all the squat problems and lack of positive traction feel when accelerating out of corners.
